I was cursed when I was a child, and spent a long time ... you know. Being a frog. Frog stuff. I lived in a lake near the castle. I was alone for a few years, but one day, she showed up. She had been playing with a golden ball - a toy, a gift from her mother - and she dropped it into the water by accident.
Yeah. Yeah, you told me about gettin' turned into a frog. [ He's very eager to breeze past that to the part he actually wanted to ask about. ] I might've, might've not but refresh my memory for me anyway.
At first I wasn't going to get it-- I mean. It's a very heavy ball, and I was just a frog, and I don't know. It takes a lot of energy to do something like that. But then we started talking, and she said it had been her mother's and her mother had passed away and I thought, I could do this one thing. It would be a good thing to do.
She offered to bring me back to the castle after that. We started talking. We were friends for quite a while, you know?
I'm not sure exactly. I don't think it happened suddenly or anything like that.

Just after a while, we both realized we, you know, feelings, but I was still a frog, so it was awkward. And then one day sort of a joke she though, well, why not give the frog a little kiss, just to see, and then the curse was broken and I was a handsome prince again. And we got married not too long after that.
