I don't think charm comes as easily as it does for someone like you or your friend Vash. I think I just knew how my story was supposed to go, and acted accordingly.

I don't know my future, is the thing. I'm sort of in that part that's ... after the ever after. Turns out, it all keeps going. Like anyone, I think? If someone were telling the story of your life, where would they start and where would it end for a satisfying, erm, arc, I suppose. There's going to be bits that aren't deemed relevant, or interesting. Will they write about the time you sat in a McDonald's for a few hours enjoying an ice cream? Or sitting around drinking with a frog? Probably not.

Yeah, allegedly. Most people don't get to remember. But being told you really did is a different kind of thing. And with some things just not making sense, well.
