he's very briefly distracted by how gerard sits like a human person, but it's like. blip on the radar. teenage-child curiosity. ]

he appreciates that he doesn't need to spell out how not-okay he is. it's not even remotely okay, and he's not good at pretending to be strong regardless. ]

I don't know, I think-- I'm sure he knew that you were and will be friends.

... Sometimes the last things we say to people are stupid, and petty, and we regret them. I can't say I haven't done the same.
